Zip a module

To submit your work on each RoboHelp module, you need to zip the entire project folder for that module. Zipping the project folder compresses the entire folder of work into a single file that you can upload through Blackboard.

To zip a module

  1. Make sure you've generated your output for the module.
  2. In RoboHelp, click the File tab, and then click Close Project.
  3. Click the Start button, and then click File Explorer.
  4. In the left pane, click your flash drive, which is usually drive D in the classroom.
  5. Locate and double-click the RoboHelp2015Data folder, and then double-click the RoboHelpProjects folder.
  6. Locate BUT DON'T OPEN the folder that corresponds to the module you're submitting.
  7. Right-click the folder, point to Send to, and then click Compressed (zipped) folder.
  8. Check the file size of the resulting .zip file. If the size is only a few kilobytes, you likely zipped something inside the project folder instead of the entire project folder. See the approximate zip sizes in the table below.
  9. Upload the resulting .zip file to the appropriate location on Blackboard.

Approximate file sizes for each zipped module

The table below shows the approximate sizes of the zip files for each module. If your size differs substantially from what's shown, make sure that you've generated your work for module and that you've zipped the entire project folder.
