Notes for RoboHelp Module 4 (content_editing)
Please make the following notes about and adjustments to the lessons we're completing in the RoboHelp text. E-book users, use the Book heading column to keep track of where to make notes or adjustments.
|Page and step||Book heading||Note or adjustment|
|Beginning of the module||N/A||Set your workspace to Classic.|
|Page 66, step 1||Student Activity: Use Spell Check||When you open the .xpj file, click Upgrade to upgrade the material to RoboHelp 2015 format.|
|Page 67, step 5||Spell Check Confidence Check||If you decided to check your Ignored Words tab on your own, you'll notice it's empty. Don't worry about this issue for the book exercises.|
|Page 68||AutoCorrect section||Skip the AutoCorrect exercise on this page. The feature likely won't work on a lab computer, and the book doesn't have us save the changes on this page.|
|Page 69, step 3||The Thesaurus section||Note that the text at the end of step 3 is wrong. It should read This guide has been prepared to aid employees.|
|Pages 72–77||PDF Review section||Skip the entire PDF Review section.|
|Page 77||Comments Confidence Check||Don't perform the steps as listed. Instead, as we did for Module
3, set WebHelp as the Primary Output, and then save and generate the WebHelp output.
When you're ready to close your project, click the File tab, and then click Close Project.
